SABSEG Integrates Benefit Brokers, Strengthening Its Commitment to Corporate Health and Employee Benefits
SABSEG Group continues to advance its growth and consolidation strategy across the Iberian Peninsula through the integration of leading specialist insurance brokerages. As part of this strategy, the Group announces the integration of Benefit Brokers, a leading firm specialising in corporate health and employee benefits programmes for companies.
This integration reinforces SABSEG’s vision of building a leading independent insurance brokerage based on specialisation, coordination and collaboration, with a clear purpose: to create a positive impact on companies, people and the communities around them.
Today, SABSEG serves more than 350,000 clients across Spain, Portugal and Italy, manages more than €800 million in premiums and has a network of over 2,000 agents and 61 offices, establishing itself as one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing groups in the Iberian insurance brokerage market.
Against this backdrop, the integration of Benefit Brokers reflects the Group’s commitment to strengthening highly specialised strategic verticals, with corporate health and employee benefits identified as one of the key areas for its future growth.
Eduardo Dávila, Chairman and CEO of SABSEG, commented: “We are seeing growing awareness, both across society and within businesses, of the importance of employee health and wellbeing. For SABSEG, the integration of Benefit Brokers reflects our ambition to go beyond healthcare alone, supporting companies as a key partner in attracting and retaining talent.”
Founded in 2014, Benefit Brokers has more than eleven years of experience and has established itself as one of the most specialised insurance brokerages in the Spanish corporate health market. Its model is based on supporting organisations in improving employee health and wellbeing through comprehensive programmes, with health insurance at their core, complemented by initiatives addressing physical, mental, financial and social wellbeing.
Through this integration, Benefit Brokers becomes part of a Group whose structure will enable it to expand its operational, technological and service capabilities, while maintaining its commercial and operational autonomy, in line with SABSEG’s consolidation model.
SABSEG’s corporate health and employee benefits vertical will be led by Carlos Domínguez and Federico Vizcayno, co-founders of Benefit Brokers, both of whom bring extensive experience in the insurance sector and in managing people-focused organisations.
Carlos Domínguez has more than 25 years of experience in the sector. He spent a significant part of his career at Sanitas, where he held senior leadership positions including Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of Sanitas Servicios de Salud. He subsequently served as Managing Director of NACE Spain at Globeducate.
Federico Vizcayno also spent a significant part of his career at Sanitas, where he served as Executive Director of the Corporate Segment. He later became Managing Director for Spain and Portugal at Groupe Henner. In 2014, he co-founded Benefit Brokers with the aim of transforming the way companies approach employee health and wellbeing.
“This new chapter allows us to scale our model and broaden our impact while continuing to put people at the heart of organisations’ strategies,” said Carlos Domínguez and Federico Vizcayno. “Becoming part of SABSEG enables us to further consolidate a strong project within a Group that shares our values and long-term vision.”
With this integration, SABSEG strengthens its position as a leading Group in the Iberian market and moves forward in its ambition to become the insurance brokerage of choice for companies, supported by highly specialised verticals led by teams with deep expertise in both their businesses and their clients.
